8 oz Meyer's Pepper Sauce/Wing Sauce
1 stick butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Add all ingredients to saucepan and bring to boil. Boil 5-6 minutes, stirring often. Pour over cooked wings in a bowl or deep dish and stir well to coat wings. Serve with ranch dressing.
3 lbs Meyer's smoked turkey breast
6 Tbsp chopped walnuts
3/4 c. dried cranberries
2 c. mayonnaise (regular or fat-free)
1 tsp lime juice
Chop turkey breast in a food processor. Add cranberries to chop last 20 seconds. Add all ingredients to bowl and mix well. Makes a great sandwich spread!
2 lg. cans pork and beans
Two 1 lb. pkgs. of your favorite flavor of Meyer's smoked sausage
1 small onion, finely diced
3 Tbsp catsup
2 Tbsp prepared mustard
Preheat oven to 375. Cut sausage into bite-sized pieces and add diced onion. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients to baking dish. Cover dish and bake 40 minutes uncovered.
Uncover, stir and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until onions are done. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
3 lbs hamburger meat
9 cups water
1 15oz. can tomato sauce
9 Tbsp Meyer's Three Mistake Chili seasoning
Brown hamburger meat. While browning, place water, tomato sauce and chili seasoning in a pot. When hamburger is done, drain and add to pot. Bring pot to a boil, then reduce to simmer, cooking 30 min. Stir every 5 min.
For thicker chili, cook an extra 15 min. or add 1 Tbsp of flour to 3 Tbsp. of warm water in a glass or bowl and stir until mixed. Add to chili while stirring. Cook an additional 5 min., stirring every minute.
2 lbs. ground turkey
9 c. water
1 15oz. can tomato sauce
9 Tbsp. of Meyer's Three Mistake Chili seasoning
1 4oz. can chopped green chiles
1 15oz. can garbonzo beans, drained
1 15oz. can black beans, drained
1 15oz. can kidney beans, drained
Brown turkey meat, add 1/2 c. water to turkey while cooking. Add all other ingredients to pot. Drain turkey meat and add to pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook 30 min. For thicker chili, refer to Beef Chili directions above.
Add 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. of Meyer's Three Mistake Chili seasoning to 1 lb. ground hamburger, mix and form patties. Cook and top with guacamole or salsa.
Add 2-3 Tbsp of Meyer's 3 Mistake Chili seasoningper lb. of ground hamburger. Brown meat in skillet.
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 tsp. Meyer's 3 Mistake Chili seasoning
9 c. Chex cereal (5 c. corn, 4 c. Wheat)
2 c. peanuts
1 c. pretzels
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan, add Worcestershire sauce and 3 Mistake Chili seasoning. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until cereal is well-coated. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 min.
1 1/2 lbs. Meyer’s Sausage
4 large potatoes
1 medium onion
1/2 cup wine (red or white)
1 Tbsp. Parsley flakes
salt & pepper to taste
Cut sausage into 1” slices, brown and drain. Slice potatoes and onion. Place sausage and potatoes and onions in a deep dish casserole. Sprinkle salt and pepper over onion and potatoes. When all is in casserole, pour wine over evenly. Sprinkle Parsley flakes between potatoes. Cover with foil tightly. Bake in a 300 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Do not uncover during baking.
2 lbs. Meyer’s Sausage
12 oz. grape jelly
10 oz. mustard
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Bake sausage in a 400 degrees oven for 35 minutes. Place ingredients in crock pot or saucepan and simmer until completely dissolved, stirring often. Cut cooked sausage into bite-sized pieces and dip in sauce for snack or delicious appetizers.
12 oz. cooked Meyer’s Sausage
1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
1/2 cup cornbread mix (substitute jalapeño for spicy mix)
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. dry minced onions
3/4 cup milk
Put biscuit and cornbread mix in bowl. Add egg, milk and onion and beat until batter is smooth. Chop cooked sausage into 1/4 pieces and add with cheese. Stir into batter. Drop mix into sprayed muffin pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes about 18 muffins.
1 lb. 8 oz. Meyer’s Garlic Sausage
12 flour tortillas
2 medium onions finely sliced
1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
1 large can of chili OR 2 cups homemade chili
Cut 6 sausage links in half length-wise. Put one sausage on each tortilla. Sprinkle onion and cheese in equal parts on top of sausage. Roll tortillas. Place in 9x13 pan. Spoon chili over the tortilla rolls and top with slices of cheese. Bake in a 375 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Enjoy this delicious work of art!
1 lb. of your favorite Meyer's Smoked Sausage, sliced thin - 1/4 in. or less. (NOTE: Sausage is already fulled cooked, so just toss it right in the mix!)
1 pint cottage cheese
1 lb. shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese
7 oz. blended green chiles
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 stick melted butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp fine black pepper
2 cups potatoes
Melt butter. Beat eggs and mix with rest of ingredients. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, 5 min. Let set for 30 minutes and serve.
Pan Fry: Split sausage in half lengthwise. Place in skillet over medium heat. Cook 3-4 min, turn and cook another 3-4 min.
BBQ: Place on grill to the side of the coals, never directly above (to reduce flare up). Cook 12-16 min, turning frequently.
Oven: Preheat oven to 325. Place links in a baking pan with sides. Bake 25-30 min on middle rack.
Braised (German style): Place links in sauce pan or skillet with approximately 1/2 in. of water in bottom of pan. Do not crowd links in pan. Cover and cook 12 min. over medium heat. Turn and cook additional 12 min.
And if you absolutely have to...
Microwave: Wrap 2 links in two paper towels and place on microwave safe dish. Microwave on high 45-55 seconds. Turn over, microwave an additional 40-45 seconds (times will vary with power of microwave).
